Crotch Strap 2-inch
Preferred by divers who use scooters (DPVs) for extended periods of time due to the added comfort the 2-inch width provides. Used for fastening a harness and backplate securely to a diver's body, the 2-inch crotch strap is used to reduce the likelihood of gear slipping upwards on the body in the water, resulting in the tank hitting the back of the head during a dive. Continuous piece of nylon webbing provides strength, yet is soft and won't dig into the body. Includes a neoprene sleeve to protect exposure suit from abrasion. Made in the U.S.A

2-inch Black Webbing
Our webbing is rot-proof, waterproof, and resistant to mold, mildew and UV. It is suitable for marine applications. The 2-inch Nylon webbing is well suited for use in backplate harness rigging and general-purpose diving applications. Orders up to 50 feet are shipped as one continuous piece.
*Note that we sell surgical tubing, shock cord, and webbing in increments of one foot. Enter total feet as "quantity".For example, if you want a continuous length of ten feet, order ten units.
If purchasing webbing for a backplate continuous harness, purchase 15 feet. If you will also be making your own crotch strap, then purchase 20 feet.

Preferred by most divers for its general comfort, the 1-inch crotch strap is ideal for fastening a harness and backplate securely to a diver's body. By using a crotch strap, divers can reduce the likelihood of their gear slipping upwards on the body in the water, resulting in the tank hitting the back of the head during a dive. 3/16-inch Shock Cord
Shock cord (bungee) is a longer-lasting and more durable alternative to surgical tubing because it is rot-proof, waterproof, and resistant to mold, mildew and UV. Shock cord is constructed of continuous rubber strands with a Nylon abrasion-resistant braided jacket, suitable for marine applications. Stretches 100% of its original length; a piece 12-inch long will stretch to 24-inch. Orders up to 50 feet are shipped as one continuous piece. - 3/16-inch (thick) shock cord is by far the more popular size, often used on regulator necklaces. Note the 3/16-inch size shock cord is also available in a 100 foot ROLL at a substantial savings. -Order by-the-foot or by-the-roll.
